Hello Hello, I am selling my beautiful Georgette because I have to leave this beautiful Canada 🇨🇦 to come back to Belgium 🇧🇪 . Price: $ 5000 (only negotiable if you come to see her 😉 ). Georgette's description: Ford E150 with a good big purring engine. Has been groomed before winter with an anti-rust coating to protect it from cold and freezing. 🔧 Mechanical ⚙️ Rear brake replacement done in October 2021. 🛞 Replacement of tires with 4 seasons in October 2021 ( they are new). ⛽️ Fuel consumption: ± 12l /100 km (on highway). 💡 Headlights replaced in October 2021. Georgette is an old lady, so there are some things to know: 1) The gas tank (the tank a gas) leaks slightly (nothing dramatic and replaceable for less than $600 if you look for the parts second hand). 2) It veers slightly to the left (it's left-handed for sure). Nothing dramatic and it didn't bother me one bit. An alignment can be done. 3) These Ford engines are really strong but they have a weakness: the spark plugs. One in particular, I just replaced it (July 4, 2022). So you are good for months. Otherwise, it's easy to replace and not expensive. 4) Rust and bodywork. It's not new and some nasty person hit me on the left side and committed a hit and run while the car was sleeping on a parking lot while I was in Belgium. It has rust all over the bottom of the car (it's a Quebec car). Nothing dramatic either but it needs to be treated and monitored from time to time. I already had a thick layer of anti-rust put on the lower body and they also put some on the door joints. Normally it's good for 2 years. According to the 5 garages that have had Georgette in their hands, they have confirmed that this car has been very well maintained. I pamper her as I can and she didn't fail me on the 5000 km I drove with her in 3 months (Gaspésie is f#ing beautiful!). On the equipment side 🎒! Inside is : A nice double bed with blankets to make dodo. Kitchen utensils (pots, pans, kitchen knives, cutlery, ...), everything to cook. ☕️ An Italian coffee maker and something to make filter coffee. 🔥 A gas-powered cooktop and another for camping ⛺️. 🐠 A fishing pole in case you get the urge. Storage everywhere for your clothes and food. I arranged each storage box by theme: - Sweet 🍪 / coffee tea ☕️ - Savory 🧂 / spices 🍛 - Containers 🍽 and dishes - Casseroles 🥘 - Survival kit 🐻 / fire 🔥 (yes there is a bear spray). - Cleaning kit 🧼 🧽 There is also the presence of a tent ⛺️, an air mattress, a mosquito net, a mosquito suit 🦟, a wood saw 🪵, lots of tools 🔧, something to redo the paint 🎨 (inside and out), batteries 🔋, tourist guides, a large map 🗺, an alternator ⚡️, a Bluetooth radio charger adapter to listen to your music 🎶... Georgette is very very well equipped. Everything is there to start right away and travel the wilderness of Canada. Georgette was for me an incredible experience that allowed me to wake up by the sea, nature, national parks, in front of a landscape of snow and ice (and in a Walmart parking lot... well yes it's convenient). I had no worries about the winter and was able to sleep at -26 C° (with a few layers anyway). I really like this car and the idea that it could be in the hands of other travelers pleases me a lot.
